OEKO-TEX® is a testing and certification system for harmful substances in textiles, developed in 1992 by research institutes in Switzerland and Germany.

Today, it operates as an international association of 18 independent research and testing institutes, centered around its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, and across Europe, with a presence in more than 60 countries worldwide.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification obtained by Towelogist is an independent, globally standardized safety test for textile products.

The certification is administered by TESTEX, an international textile and leather research institute in Europe. TESTEX evaluates raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, and accessory materials according to European environmental standards, and oversees the certification process.

Receiving STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Class 1 means that, compared with domestic certifications, the process is more complex and the standards are more stringent. As a result, products that pass this certification demonstrate a high level of quality, safety, and credibility.

To maintain STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® Class 1, which must be renewed annually, rigorous inspection procedures are carried out on a regular basis, including safety certification throughout the product manufacturing process. In addition, we are continuously developing and applying internationally recognized eco-friendly materials.
